A New Cleveland Favorite

What a fun week it was in Cleveland! Ryan went for lots of walks, explored Nanna and Poppo's house, got lots of new toys, went swimming, went out to eat a lot, played at a children's play place, and played in a fun locker room where he loved standing on the benches and playing with all of the locks on the short lockers. It was a long week with few naps...so now I will go and rest!!!

Finally!!! Aunt Renee!

It's been 10.5 months in the making, but FINALLY...Ryan met the last of our Aunts and Uncles!!! And how could you wait 10.5 months to meet Aunt Renee? That's what Ryan kept saying, but it finally worked out! They had so much fun playing, going for a walk, going on the swing, and generally getting Aunt Renee ready for her very own grandchild who will be here in June!!!

Ryan's First Passover

Paula helps Walter display the Passover plagues. Ryan was very interested in the Passover story, as told by Nanna...and he was a bit fussy, but still posed for a picture with Nanna and Poppo in his new Passover outfit!

Lemonade Days

Before leaving town, some of us went to the Lemonade Days festival at Brook Run. The rides were way too big and scary for Ryan and Henry, but Henry was nice enough to share his wagon with Ryan!

After getting home, we fed Ryan, and as usual, Charlie looked to see if Ryan left him any goodies!
The next morning, Grandma and Grandpa came over to say goodbye before we left for Cleveland. As always, Ryan had a great time playing with Grandma and Grandpa, and showed off how he can now stand for a few seconds at a time!

10 Months!

At 10 Months, Ryan's favorite thing to do is to find anything possible to stand against. Therefore, the only way to get Ryan still was to let him stand holding onto his safety gate. We doubt that this is the best use for the gate, but so far, our handy work has not been ripped out of the wall! Ryan now has 6 teeth, claps his hands, and tries his best to copy noises we make. He has mastered clicking his tongue. Our least favorite thing at 10 months is the need for 2 people to change Rya since he wants to turn over and crawl away...
Ryan met his new friend Gabby...congrats Brian and Jackie!
The Dalton's dog Betty was another great toy for Ryan!
We just wanted to include this picture. Whenever we put Ryan in the highchair, Charlie sits under it, hoping to get some food!
