Now that Ryan is over 4 months, we have started him on rice cereal. For anyone nearing this step, these are the required tools...don't forget the bib! We used the high chair to get Ryan used to eating in the kitchen, and figured we paid for it, we should use it!

Cathy came for dinner. Ryan was surprised to hear that his mother used to babysit for Cathy. We realized we were old when Cathy couldn't believe that we actually mailed letters back and forth with our friends when we were in college, and Cathy used e-mail!

A lot happened this month! Ryan can now hold himself up while lying on his tummy. He can also turn over, laugh out loud, babble, has great head control, pays attention when we read to him, looks at Charlie, and is finally on a consistent eating schedule! We are still working on consistent sleep! Ryan will be celebrating the big day with the Lembecks at El Azteca!
Today Ryan got a Happy Gram for putting his own pacifier in his mouth, and for turning over from his back to front 2 times in a row!
